I used to be a broke kid paying my way through college. I graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. I clawed my way into the tech industry after college to eventually start building products at Workday because I had a dream to build software products that positively impacted a massive amount of people. Within 3 years after starting as a junior PM, I was chosen to lead the Product Architecture practice. Within 5 years, I had achieved one of my life goals: securing a technical patent for innovative product work. At Workday, I worked with great teammates to spearhead company wide efforts around driving strategic customer success enabled by value driven product analytics. We implemented a customer centric, value led product culture. The results: π· Product adoption data was democratized - costs to get insights went from $10M/year to zero π· Drove 8% greater adoption of key features across customers π· I secured a shared technical patent for my innovative product adoption framework π· In the 4 years after the product adoption framework was in place, Workday grew in revenue by 78%, from ~$2.4B to ~$4.3B, with a large focus on strategic upsells based on product analytics It was an amazing journey. Teamwork makes the dream work! I have deep expertise in creating systems and processes that drive culture change (the hardest part) and empower teams to unlock their potential to strategically reduce churn, increase retention, and improve time to value for customers, and boost upsell opportunities in B2B SaaS.
I attribute ALL of my success to deeply working on soft skills: cultivating a growth mindset, maximizing my communication and influence skills, and mastering my emotions.
